HERA report on Patent Issues is getting into significant policy discussions

In 2009 HERA carried out a Regional Assessment of Patent and Related Issues and Access to Medicines in the CARICOM Member States and the Dominican Republic on behalf of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).

The reports resulting from this assessment (Volume I - Main Report and Volume II - Country Studies) are currently getting into significant policy discussions. They have been favorably commented upon by officials at international and regional organizations concerned with international intellectual property policy. The reports are also part of the documentation associated with the WHO local production program.

They have been published on the PANCAP website and on the Social Science Research Network (SSRN) website, and are now also available on our website under Publications.
