  • hera supports Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) by strengthening community access, promoting equitable services, empowering young people and women in fragile settings. We collaborate with partners to expand quality care, challenge stigma, and ensure individuals can make informed choices.

  • By integrating evidence-based approaches and promoting equity, hera helps strengthen local systems. hera advances humanitarian aid by delivering responsive, community-centred support that prioritises protection, health, and dignity.

  • Through evidence-driven insights, hera works to reduce inequalities in primary healthcare and service delivery, with the goal of helps safeguarding health outcomes in an increasingly unpredictable environment. This includes improving the effectiveness of immunisation systems, enhances supply chains, and informing climate-resilient planning.

  • hera’s Mental Health thematic includes gender-based violence (GBV), disability inclusion, and child protection. Through research, monitoring, and community engagement, hera identifies gaps, strengthens services, and promotes equitable access, helping ensure the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of all individuals, especially the most vulnerable.

  • hera believes in safe, reliable, and timely access to medicines for all populations. Our work aims to improve access to essential medicines and pharmaceuticals by using research, monitoring, and evidence-based approaches to identify gaps in availability, affordability, and quality.

  • hera’s focus on Governance & Policy also includes supporting health financing and organisational change. By using evidence, research, and monitoring to inform decision-making and system improvements, it supports effective leadership, transparent resource allocation, and adaptive organisational practices.
