Narrative description of project:
The programme goal is to contribute to the improvement of health and quality of life of the population in the target municipalities. The specific objective is to strengthen integrally the health networks (redes de salud) in the target municipalities. The programme implements interventions at the central level of Ministry of Health and in 10 health networks (redes de salud) en 43 municipalities and four Departments in the country.
The purpose of the evaluation is to assess the level of achievement of the expected objectives and results of the programme. The evaluation criteria included the assessment of relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability. The integration of gender and environment perspective into the programme implementation was also assessed.
