The feasibility study provided the decision makers in the Government of the Republic of Namibia and the EC with information to prepare a focused HIV/AIDS-STI-TB programme for financing and implementation.
Description of services provided:
The process related to the feasibility study included:
  • An assessment of the relevance of the proposed support to address the identified problems within the national response to HIV/AIDS

  • A detailed analysis of the technical, economic and financial, institutional and management feasibility of the proposed support

  • A detailed analysis of potential sustainability

The output of the feasibility study is: A detailed feasibility report, which specifies agreed project objectives, results and activities, stipulates relevant indicators, indicates estimated resource requirements, clarifies the management mechanism and institutional structure, states the responsibilities of the various bodies, and provides a clear project time line.
