Narrative description of project:
The objective of the mission was to assess the achievements made by the Reproductive Health Project (RHP) Makueni after 32 months of activities out of the 48 months duration of the project.
Description of services provided:
The team assessed:
  • The initial set up of the project and its potential for success

  • The achievements and impact of the Reproductive Health Project (RHP) project since the beginning of the field activities

  • The extent to which the activities outlined in the adjusted project proposal were implemented

  • The extent to which the results outlined in the adjusted project proposal have been reached

  • The progress of the RHP in relation with the anticipated time-plan and plan of operation

  • The probability that this project will be able to reach the objectives through verifiable and operational achievements within the original time span

  • The identification of facilitating and constraining factors to the program performance

  • Verified how the initial risk and assumptions mentioned by the formulation team are still relevant and to which extent risks are increased or reduced at the actual state of implementation of the project

  • The integration of the RHP activities into the activities of the district and/or general policies of the Ministry of Health
