hera has been contracted by SAT to conduct a rapid external review of SAT’s 5-year strategy, identifying the successes achieved and capacity gaps. This rapid assessment was presented to SAT and its donors (SDC and SIDA) in Johannesburg. During the workshop in Johannesburg, the consultant also facilitated a one day session on developing a Theory of Change for SAT and assisted with finalizing the revised strategy.
Following the approval of the revised strategy, the consultant was contracted to support 5 country offices with developing/updating their country strategies: Botswana, Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The consultant ensured these strategies used a similar format, while respecting the individual country approaches and were aligned with the overall SAT strategy.
