Narrative description of project:
The Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research (AHPSR) is an international independently governed collaboration situated in the Health Systems and Innovation cluster at the World Health Organization’s (WHO) headquarters in Geneva. Its overarching goal is to improve the health sectors of low and middle-income countries (LMICs) through the promotion and use of empirical health policy and systems research (HPSR).
The Board of the Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research commissions external reviews on an ad-hoc basis approximately every 4-5 years. The purpose of the review is to evaluate and assess progress towards agreed objectives and outcomes, as well as to identify a number of recommendations.
