Narrative description of project:
The Global Fund has been providing funding to HIV/AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis programs in Guinea Bissau since 2004. To date, Global Fund has approved a total of US$ $49,069,224 million (excluding Round 9) with US$ $21,029,342 million disbursed.
A number of challenges have been identified which are affecting grant implementation. The aims of the capacity building assistance for Guinea Bissau is to improve in-country capacities to manage procurement and supply chain processes and systems in an effective, efficient and sustainable manner.
