Narrative description of project:
Since 2013 the Flemish government organized three cancer screening programmes (cervical, breast and colon). The results of these programmes were used to formulate new public health goals for the Flemish region. These goals were presented at a conference. The preliminary phase of this conference had the objective of analysing the current situation of the cancer screening programmes in Flanders and formulate the new objectives and the plan of action for the period 2014-2020.
The preparations for this conference were an iterative process with the main Flemish universities, the Flemish Ministry of Public Health and the partners of the three cancer screening programmes at regional and local level.
