Narrative description of project:
The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) is exploring a new health intervention in Zimbabwe in the context of its Regional Programme Southern Africa 2013-2016.
The overall objective of the mission was to provide a sound understanding of the situation and interventions around cervical cancer in Zimbabwe as a comprehensive basis for decision making for SDC regarding a future project in this field. The assessment aimed at indicating if, how and where SDC could contribute in addressing the cervical cancer problem while taking into consideration SDCs strategic orientation and comparative advantages.
A risk analysis (operational, institutional, financial...) of the different options and potential implementing partners was also included in the ToR.
