Narrative description of project:
The objective of this consultancy was threefold:
1. For the five provinces in which the Project to Support Health Sector Rehabilitation (PARSS) is active: To provide an analysis of the supply chain of essential medicines and other medical suppliers from national level via the provincial level to the health zones and the health facilities and provide recommendations on how to improve the supply chain.
2. To present an overview of current and future ARV supply funding as well as of the ARV needs and to evaluate and appreciate the risks for ARV stock-outs in general and in the five PARRS supported provinces in particular.
To present an overview of the current and future family planning supply funding and PSM arrangements at national and provincial level with an emphasis on the five PARRS supported provinces.
