Narrative description of project:
The Partnership for Reviving Routine Immunisation in Northern Nigeria (PRRINN) and the Northern States Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Initiative (MNCH) was a six-year maternal, newborn and child health programme jointly funded by DFID and the Government of Norway which began in 2006 as a DFID-funded health systems project with a focus on routine immunisation (£19m). The programme was implemented by a consortium of providers led by Health Partnership International (HPI). The programme was awarded further funding by DFID in order to contribute to improved maternal, newborn and child health in northern Nigeria by 2013.
