hera and the Nordic Consulting Group have been awarded two framework contracts with the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation

In June 2020, hera and the Nordic Consulting Group (NCG) were awarded together two framework contracts with the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad). Norad established the framework agreements in order to ensure continual rapid access to flexible expert services in the implementation of Norwegian global health policy.

hera partner Marieke Devillé is the project director with a team of both NCG and hera consultants working on two portfolios in line with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good health and well-being) and Goal 5 (Achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls).

Portfolio A covers Health systems including health security and public health with a primary focus on country-level progress in realizing Universal health coverage (UHC) – priority setting, coverage of key services, household expenditure and health sector reform with a special emphasis on Primary Health Care (PHC). Other relevant topics related to global health and development may also be required and provided within this portfolio.

Portfolio B focuses on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), harmful practices and LGBTI+ as well as other relevant topics related to SRHR in global health and development.

The work will involve the development of technical and analytical programme related documents such as studies, briefs, concept notes and reviews. We look forward to this collaboration and to contributing to the Norwegian global health policy knowledge base.
