Alejandra Martinez Alfaro is an International Development consultant with more than nine years of experience in conducting research and evaluation assignments. She has diverse multi-sector expertise, most notably in female empowerment, violence prevention, financial inclusion, and education. As an Evaluation Consultant, Alejandra has led multiple projects on the ground for clients such as USAID, UNICEF, UNDP, UNODC, and UNFPA. Her specific evaluation experience includes: Impact evaluations; Baseline evaluations; needs assessments; multi-country, regional and thematic evaluations; evaluations at the country programme level; and evaluations at the project or sector level. Alejandra’s technical expertise includes: online and in-field surveys, key informant interviews, focus group discussions, analysis of official statistics, econometric methods, data visualization, and geographic methods (ArcGis). Alejandra has worked as a consultant for hera for several years, she joined hera as an Associate Partner in 2023.
