Evaluation of the Sahel Solidarity Health Initiative (AFD)

The AFD/I3S Niger project supported the health sector in Niger by improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare services. The project focused on the implementation of the Initiative for Health, Social Protection and Promotion (I3S) in the Dosso region. hera provided technical assistance and support to the project, conducting a study on the costs of healthcare services in Niger, organizing meetings with stakeholders, and providing training to healthcare workers. The project also focused on improving the management of healthcare services in the Dosso region by implementing a software program for managing healthcare costs and providing support to healthcare workers. The project has been successful in improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare services in the region. Overall, the AFD/I3S Niger project and the work done by hera have been instrumental in improving the healthcare sector in Niger and providing better access to healthcare services for the population.
